Resurrection horizon

By John Minney

The cross is often the focal point of our Christian journey. Yet without the Resurrection we have no evidence that the cross achieved anything. The apostle Paul after 20 years of proclaiming the "Good News " declares that Jesus was shown to be the Son of God when He was raised from the dead. John M shows us 33 reasons that Paul gives in the book of Romans why it is the resurrection that declares and gives us our amazing relationship and our new resurrected life in God.

Keep asking, searching, and knocking...

By Jeff Evers

Jeff reminds us that God's provision is more than enough. The woman with a little oil (2 Kings 4 1-7) that becomes more than enough not only to pay her debts but to live on in the future. The king striking the ground ( 2 kings 13 18-19), we should be aware not to stop short of all God has to give us. The dry bones (Ezekiel 37 1-6) remind us to speak God's word over those dry bones, and maybe armies will arise.
Matt 7:7 [ISV] Keep asking, and it will be given to you, keep searching, and you will find, keep knocking, and the door will be open to you.

Key Scriptures: Colossians 3:1-4, 2 Kings 4:1-7, 2 Kings 13:18-19, Ezekiel 37:1-6

Life Among The Dead

By Caleb Wheatley

Continuing our theme for the year “Come alive 25” Caleb shares that even if we think a “God promise” is impossible to revive because it seems dead, that God still wants to work in and through us as we partner with him in his mission. Mary Magdalene came to an empty tomb but instead sought Jesus, followed Jesus, and then saw Jesus at work. That can also be our story as we seek Jesus, follow Jesus we then see Jesus.

Key Scriptures:  Colossians 3:1-4, Mathew 28:1-8
